Dodge Food Grade Bearings 

Offered in both standard and stand-off housing, Food Grade ball bearings range in size from ½ inch to 1 15/16. 

Unlike other bearings, the base metal of the insert is made of 400 series stainless steel and is coated with KleenTec. With a bond strength that exceeds 61,000 psi, the KleenTec coating system prevents harsh alkaline and acids from reaching the base metal of the inner and outer rings.

Other features of the Dodge Food Grade bearings include:  

• Max life cage: prevents grease washout during high-pressure cleaning.
• H1 food grade lubricant: lubed for life with synthetic food grade lubricant.
• Hydro armor seal: protects internal rotating elements from water ingress.

There are two Dodge food grade gear reducers, the Ultra Kleen Tigear-2 and Ultra Kleen Quantis. Maintenance free, these gear reducers are also designed to be breather free. With no pin to open, there’s less chance of causing contamination from spilled oil.   

Both gear reducers are engineered to provide operators with reliability even in the harshest of washdown applications. 

Ultra Kleen Tigear-2

This single reduction right angle worm stainless steel gear reducer features:

• 4 case sizes with 1.75” to 3.00” center distances.
• Two-piece harsh duty output seals. 
• Torque ratings up to 2,300 lb-in.
• Factory-filled H-1 food grade lubrication.
• Quill or three-piece coupled input options.

The Ultra Kleen Tigear-2 can be used in conveyors, mixer drives, screw conveyors, pumps, and general machinery in environments with ultraviolet rays, harsh chemicals, oils, food, acids, water immersion, abrasion, and high-pressure washdowns.

This right angle helical bevel features:
