Goodyear’s new F5TM Air Hose upsets the established order with its revolutionary hybrid thermoplastic elastomeric (TPE) cover and tube – and its advanced features.
This 300 psi air hose has flexibility and low drag resistance. It is a lightweight hose, offering the non-marking performance of a plastic hose as well as the durability, oil resistance, cold temperature rating and pressure rating of a rubber hose.
Goodyear F5 has excellent temperature range: from -40°F to 158°F (-40°C to 70°C).It also has great flexibility, requiring up to 50 percent less force to bend than comparable PVC and rubber air hose and even up to 20 percent less force to bend than industry leading flexible hose.
The F5 flexible design makes it ideal for construction, manufacturing, pneumatic tools and any other general purpose air hose applications.
F5 holds a distinct advantage over PVC and rubber competitive hoses in regard to weight, flexibility and low end temperature rating. These benefits, coupled with the cost competitiveness of the product will make it competitive in both the PVC and rubber air hose market.
