IBT Industrial Solutions opened a new, full-service branch in Dickson, Tennessee on August 1, 2016.

The new branch is located at 511 Henslee Drive and will provide local businesses with a full range of industrial, MRO, and OEM services and supplies—ranging from bearings, to power transmission, to conveyor systems and safety supplies.

A growing company

The new branch is part of IBT’s larger goal of growing its business footprint.  They recently opened another new full-service branch in nearby Stuttgart, Arkansas.

“This is our first step in our renewed growth strategy, and the new Dickson branch is on the outer fringes of our current territory,” said Mike Cooper, Regional Manager for IBT.  “We’re excited to show customers in the Tennessee area that we’re an experienced provider of comprehensive industrial solutions, with a top-notch staff.”

Full-service industrial and MRO supplier

The new facility is 5,500 sq. ft., with a walk-in counter for customers with immediate needs.  IBT staffers Tucker Wallace and Sheldon Pratt have already contacted more than 650 businesses in the area to discuss their needs for industrial and MRO supplies.

“We originally got the idea for expanding into the central Tennessee area from one of our favorite long-time customers, Dal-Tile,” said Dennis Vogel, IBT’s Vice President of Sales.  “When we learned they were opening a new facility in the Dickson area, we decided it would be a great opportunity to open a new branch.”

Many diverse businesses

The central Tennessee region has a rich history of businesses in the food, tile, forestry, and automotive industries—as well as a variety of light and heavy manufacturing.

“We’re here to service the entire community,” Cooper said.  “We’re excited to tell the IBT story to local companies here in Tennessee.”
