IBT Industrial Solutions was selected by Affiliated Distributors (AD) as the 2016 Member of the Year for their Bearings and Power Transmission Division.
Chosen by Popular Vote
IBT was chosen by popular vote from 32 supplier members of AD. The company was selected for “going above and beyond in organizing and structuring a program to support AD suppliers” and for their “organization and commitment to making the new division work,” said Anila Vangjeli, Marketing Coordinator at AD.
“We are proud to be the first recipient of this prestigious award,” said Tim Zerger, Group Director of Bearings and Power Transmission at IBT. “We feel that AD will help us continue to be a world-class distributor, supplier, and partner—and will help our customers to be more successful.”
New Division for AD
The Bearings and Power Transmission Division is the newest division at AD, founded in 2015. IBT is a founding member, and also participates in AD’s Industrial Division.
“IBT has been very active since joining AD,” said Tom Blue, the Vice President of Member Relations and Marketing for the Industrial Division of AD. “They’ve been instrumental over the past 2 years in building up this new division.”
Award Ceremony in Orlando
The award was given at the 2nd annual AD winter meeting for the Bearings and Power Transmission Division, held in Orlando, Florida in February. More than 100 attendees participated. The award was accepted on behalf of IBT by Tim Zerger and Jeff Cloud, the Vice President of Marketing for IBT.
