For the third year in a row, IBT Industrial Solutions participated in the AmCon Design & Contract Manufacturing Expo, held May 12-13, 2015 at the Overland Park Convention Center in Overland Park, Kansas.
“Every year, we get a lot of value out of meeting with new people in our industry, and seeing the new technologies out there,” said Brent Hanson, Business Group Director of Fluid Power for IBT. “The caliber of people attending AmCon is excellent, and we made many high-quality connections.”
Making New Connections
More than 50 people visited the IBT booth over the 2-day AmCon tradeshow to visit with Hanson and his colleagues Jim Newell and David Leffert, both Fluid Power Product Specialists at IBT. They were also joined by Chris Coad, the Program Manager for Ultra-Tech.
The team talked with employees from Tension Corp., OptumRx, Honeywell, Cessna, and more. 93% of AmCon attendees are top-level purchasing, engineering, and production managers who are directly involved in buying contract manufacturing and job shop services.
“Our visitors get to see a different side of IBT,” said Hanson. “We do so much more than just bearings and power transmissions. We also do comprehensive fluid power system design.”
