What Is the 3-A Sanitary Standard 62-02?

The 3-A Sanitary Standard (62-02) is a strict guideline created to ensure that hoses and equipment used in dairy and food processing are easy to clean, inspect, and sanitize.

Certified components must pass rigorous testing for cleanability, material compatibility, and fabrication practices—with recertification every five years.
