Quick, Easy Concrete Patching With Rust-Oleum’s Innovative TurboKrete

When winter is over, it’s time to repair the cracks and crevices in your concrete.  The easy fix?  Rust-Oleum’s TurboKrete, a quick-drying epoxy patch product that bonds directly to concrete.  No professional contractor needed—you can apply it yourself using a trowel and a patch kit.

“Customers love TurboKrete because it’s a strong, versatile product that works in both interiors and exteriors,” said Wes Voorhees, Account Manager for Rust-Oleum Industrial Brands.  “It offers great protection, and it’s easy to apply yourself.”

Accepts Foot Traffic in 1 Hour

Concrete Patching with Rust-Oleum’s TurboKrete is a fast-curing process, composed of 100% solids epoxy that is hard enough to accept foot traffic in only 1 hour—and vehicle traffic in as little as 6-8 hours.  It is 3-4x stronger than concrete, and hardens after 7 days to a whopping 13,400 psi.

Better yet, it’s completely odorless, so it can be used in food, beverage, and pharmaceutical shops.

“It’s one of the stronger products on the market,” Voorhees said.  “Even though it’s a contractor-grade product, just about anyone can apply it with a steel trowel.”

Apply in Temps as Low as 45°F

TurboKrete can be applied to an interior or exterior, in weather as low as 45°F, making it ideal for springtime repairs.

“When air temps fall below 45°F, we recommend using our InstaPatch product,” Voorhees said.  “That works better in winter, at temperatures down to -5°F.”

  • Walkways
  • Curbs
  • Floors
  • Ramps
  • Traffic zones

“TurboKrete is incredibly versatile and can be used on virtually any type of concrete floor,” Voorhees said.  For vertical surfaces—such as concrete walls and doors—he recommends using TurboKrete Multi Purpose Repair Adhesive.

“These are proven products,” Voorhees said.  “We have sold TurboKrete to almost every type of industry in every type of environment.  It’s an easy, long-lasting solution.”
