Timken® Self-Aligning Mounted Bearings Offer Superior Strength and Sealing

Timken® Self-Aligning Mounted Bearings Offer Superior Strength and Sealing

Designed for mills, mines, power plants and other unforgiving environments.

If dirt and debris are costing you downtime, a stronger mounted bearing solution might be the answer. Timken® Self-Aligning Tapered Roller Bearing Housed Units are designed for applications from aggregate and steel to mining and power generation. This self-aligning tapered roller bearing housed units feature a highly durable cast steel housing and cartridge, and can accept +/-4 degrees of misalignment to manage dynamic loads and stresses.

The full line of Type-ESA pillow block configurations is available in two-bolt sizes 1 3/16 to 3 ½ in. (30–89 mm), four-bolt sizes 2 ¼ to 5 in. (57–127 mm) and 4-bolt flange sizes 1 3/16 – 4 ½ in. (35-115 mm). Using optimized Timken Tapered Roller Bearings, these heavy-duty units can achieve an effective service life that is 47% to 113% longer than comparable products.*

Engineered for Excellence

With advanced modeling tools and decades of performance data, Timken engineers stronger bearing solutions from the inside out. In Timken Self-Aligning Tapered Roller Bearing Housed Units, this expertise translates to optimized profiles and surface finishes that promote improved lubrication film thickness and reduced internal stresses, resulting in less friction and lower operating temperatures.

Timken’s self-aligning tapered roller bearing housed units are dimensionally equivalent to standard options. This makes finding the right fit easy. In addition, all units are powder coated so corrosion will not become a problem.
