IBT provides on-site conveyor belt splicing services, including hot vulcanization up to 72″ belt width. Our technicians are trained to handle fast, reliable field installations and repairs, ensuring maximum uptime for your operation.
We stock a full line of heavy-duty conveyor belt splice hardware for elevator leg and industrial applications, including:
- AB Splice – Non-ferrous bronze, non-sparking, non-corroding, rated up to 1,000 PIW (pounds per inch of width)
- Durasplice – Galvanized cast iron, high tensile strength, rated up to 1,000 PIW

Conveyor Belt Modification & Fabrication
At IBT, we don’t just splice and repair—we also custom-fabricate conveyor belts to meet your exact needs. Our modification services include:
- Slitting & Cutting – Any width or length with precision tolerances
- Cleats – T-cleats, beefy cleats, tapered, notched, or welded, up to 3″ tall.
- V-Guides – PVC or urethane profiles, single or multiple guides, solid or notched. They can be welded to the pulley side as a single centered guide or in multiples. V-guide profiles can also be used as edge flanges when welded to the cover side.
- Vulcanized Endless Splicing – Step, finger, double finger, skived, overlap, or field-prepared splices
- Perforation – For bolts, vacuum, or drainage applications
- Backing Options – Natural rubber, neoprene, Linatex, Rema, closed-cell foam, and more can be chemically bonded to flat belting, timing, or V-belts. We can also groove or sipe for greater flexibility.
- Softwall Sleeves & Chutes – Natural gum rubber, FDA nitrile, or neoprene in wall thickness varying from 1/8″ to 1/2″.
