Drives Offer Flexibility

Siemens & IBTThe Siemens family of MICROMASTER low-voltage frequency inverters address drive applications in the power range extending from 0.12 kW up to 250 kW. They are designed for simple applications with voltage-frequency control (V/f control) to complex applications with closed-loop vector control and encoder feedback.  Contact IBT for more information.

Meet the family:

  • MICROMASTER 420 – the universal inverter with improved drive performance features.
  • MICROMASTER 430– economically efficient in both investment and operation.
  • MICROMASTER 440– everything needed to keep machine wear to a minimum.

Here is a frequency inverter which can be easily adapted to your individual requirements. The Siemens MICROMASTER 420 is the universal inverter for 3-phase networks and optional field-bus connection.

With its modular design, the extensive standard functions can be supplemented with a wide variety of options. You do not even need tools, as the operator panels and the communications modules can be simply plugged in. Screwless control terminals – as with the rest of the family – make connecting terminals a cinch.

The MICROMASTER 440 has been specially designed for applications needing broader functionality and a greater dynamic response than usual. Its sophisticated vector control system ensures a uniformly high drive quality, even when sudden load changes occur.

Fast response inputs and positioning deceleration ramps allow movement to target positions even without an encoder. Due to an integrated brake chopper, it works with outstanding precision, even during braking and short declaration ramps.
